How will I know if coaching will work for me?Well, you don’t until you’ve tried it. Coaching isn’t a quick fix for one bit of your life. It's about you as a whole person - making sure that improving one area of your life has a positive impact on the whole of your life. Several personal development trainers we know say that coaching has the most effective and lasting impact on people’s lives and their development. This is probably why some of the world’s most successful people have worked with life coaches – Nelson Mandella, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwartzeniger have used coaches. Also leaders of industry and public services use coaches for personal and professional development. Coaches have been around in the sporting world for a long time. There’s the “technical” coach who helps sports people to perfect their game. Then there is the “inner” coach, who works on getting an athlete mentally equipped to perform at their best. Think of your life coach as your “inner coach.” So, if you keep asking yourself “isn’t there more to life than this?” or “when is my life going to start?” coaching could help you. No one wants to feel trapped in a life they don’t enjoy. If you want a positive change in your life and feel in control of your own fate, you should consider coaching.
